| Welcome - to the homepage of The Anthony "Tony" Guerrera Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship was established in 2006 in his memory and shall be awarded annually to an Alhambra High School student athlete graduate to further their higher education. The scholarship was created and is sponsored by Mrs. Perez, Dept Chair of the World Language Dept at Alhambra High School. Tony attended Alhambra High School and graduated in 1999. Tony was an individual who shined through his personality. He was outgoing, athletic, smart, creative, charming, thoughtful, innovative, a progressive thinker and enjoyed writing. He played football throughout his high school years and was crowned Homecoming King for the 1998/99 school year. After high school he pursued a career at The Walt Disney Studios as a security guard. His career goal was to become VP of Studio Operations. Tony passed away in April of 2003 as a result of multiple injuries he suffered in a motorcylcle accident. He was only 22 years young. Interested applicants must be an Alhmabra High School graduating senior, football player and serious about pursuing their further education. To learn more or apply, click here.
